QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today unveiled the QUALCOMM QCP(TM) Third Generation (3G) phone, a handset prototype that incorporates features such as videoconferencing and Web browsing that may be found in future products.

It's about time.

Please do not ask me for a link . . . All I know is that it was pushed to me by PR Newswire along with three other interesting QCOM articles set to be published today (10/11/99). I cannot find links on the net for these articles yet.

About 3G CDMA air royalties,

Thanks Clark

I was concerned that albeit a dominant ultra coup for the Q that they might be much less material $$$ wise than ground ones. Do you have any insight if they would be equivalent in terms of the dollars generated? I agree they will be critical as a percent of operating earnings once the handsets find a new home.

Thanks
