Jesus explained this in depth in John 10. Have you read that chapter ?? He teaches that he did not come to die for everyone but his "sheep" He calls himself a shepherd. He teaches that the Father has given him certain people from the human race whom he calls sheep. He teaches that many do not believe BECAUSE they are goats and it is not given to them to know the things of the kingdom. See verse 26 " But ye believe not because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me. " Well when Jesus taught that they tried to stone him right there and then. Go read it.
