Hi Colin,

I've read a lot of your posts on this thread, I appreciate the effort you've put into providing the info you have.

A have a strange question for you. What information does the IRS have/get about individual Roth accounts? Do they receive info when and at what price trades were closed, similar to taxable accounts, or not?

Thanks
Todd

Colin, If I contribute to a traditional IRA this year can I then convert to a Roth at the end of the year if my income level permits? What if the contribution was for tax year 1999?

Thanks, Stu
