My son loves Tavern on the Green, and it sounds like he would get a kick out of Le Cirque, which I have been contemplating as an option. Thanks for the input!....The apparent demise of the Russian Tea Room is still an irritant, but I have located a Russian Restaurant in the Theater District that sounds like it has a similar ambiance, with numerous paintings and bric-a-brac cluttering the walls, and I may try that....Have you tried the Cafe des Artistes, in Lincoln Center? I have waited until my son was older to give it some thought, but I am still undecided....Do you have a favorite place in Grand Central? In Little Italy?
