Richard, the very fact that the Gov't won't allow a full audit to be done causes me to believe that there may be some basis to the story. Of course it's always possible that the physical gold in in Ft. Knox but title to it lies elsewhere. Since so many other countries store gold at the FED bank in NY. Why couldn't they also be storing it at Ft. Knox?

There was a company on the Vancouver exchange that was in the metals refining business. I think it was called Delta refining. They did a stock issue I believe and took people to show their stock of gold in their vault It looked great, nice shiny bars all stacked up. Unfortunately it turned out later that the bars were brass.
