May the English teacher step in here in defense of Rob. Words carry two meaning: a denotation and a connotation.
The denotation is the dictionary definition and the connotation is the message we get from the words. Now the connotation of Rob's Jim Bishop post must be viewed carefully in context. It was Rob's intention to say, "We at ECNC are lucky that we do not have to deal with this kind of scamming and deceit." Perhaps people were looking in between the lines. Usually that is valid, but you also have to know the man.

Rob has been and remains the staunchest of ECNC supporters.
KK and Matt, I assure you IMHO Rob meant to clarion our integrity. Rob is an information junkie (and that is good) so he culls from the TRHEADS and passes it on. This was his only intention. Indeed when I have been kicked in the groin by bashers, it is people like Rob and kk who have supported me.

Well, it is my turn to return the favor. Rob, I know your intentions were pure. I empathize with the feelings you must have this morning. In like spirit I empathize with kk and Mike who saw Rob's post the other way: as an admonition rather than an informational tidbit.

Words - boy can they get us in trouble. Take it from the English teacher.

God bless you all,

We are the ECNC family,
and I am proud to be part of it

Tom,

I agree - I have emailed Dom and Jim n(yesterday), and they really do need the advertising funds. I have made an official request in writing and verbally this morning to Tom to that effect. Dom truly is the best in the business - but he needs money. I proposed to Tom that a hefty portion of the Cook Island kitty be sent to Dom and Jim.

longtom...I agree a little with you, although I do think the ArtAuction is a great concept. Just look at eBay..sheesh.
However, the design and layout of the ArtAuction website needs some SERIOUS work.

btw....have a look at www.turbonium.com. By and far, the BEST website I've seen in a LOOOONG time.
