<<Of the purported short position of gold can anyone tell me what the estimated breakdown is, how much is forward sold, how much was leased, how much was outright shorted?>> It is guessed(and guess is the best anyone outside the conspiracy can make) the greatest portion of the short position are purely naked shorts, & I have read others guess this at 55-70% of the total with the understanding that any of the leased gold which has gone to non-mining concerns(hedge funds, banks,...) are now also "naked".
