Hey I feel your pain. I spent a good deal of time in Connecticut and was a big fan. 86 was a dagger in the heart. I still wonder why Buckner was even in the game. All year long McNamara had pulled him late in the game and put in Stapleton for defensive purposes. It will remain an eternal mystery. I recall there was hope in 1990.
