Haim - On the accusation of gentleperson status, I prefer to presume guilt until innocence is established... On the question of CPUID-specific code, I have already taxed you with a question about that on the AMD thread, so I won't press the point, and in any case, I think many/most 'real-world' consumer apps (particularly games) already offer 3DNow support. In the higher-end, however... those PhotoShop results may not be an anomaly. Will be interesting. On the subject of fitness of chip design to code optimization, do you know enough about Athlon's design to comment? TIA, Vince
