Art and thread: while the "plain english" rule adopted by the SEC is a laughing matter in one sense, the delays caused by SEC staff and lawyers representing issuers (potential issuers, I guess I should say), have killed numerous deals as the holdups in agreeing to acceptable "plain english" in amendments to registration statements have blown away timing windows in the market. While the lawyers discuss the niceties of what is comprehensible to a widow in Sacramento, interest rates rise and fall, markets wax and wane and companies go aborning for lack of funds. Unfortunately, it's not SNDK alone. Steve

Art and Thread, I look back on the past few weeks... Major announcements with Toshiba and Matsushita for the SD card, MMC design-ins everywhere, The DoD contract for digital dogtags, INVOX, our first acquisition, A tentative agreement to share technology and manufacturing with Toshiba, The RCA Lyra release, THIS HAS BEEN AN AWESOME QUARTER! Only the earthquake has taken the wind out our sails. We have alot to be thankful for!!! I am still optimistic about Q3 and years beyond. Message to Eli... I need a "go, no go" on that sushi order tomorrow night! Ausdauer ($54 and change)
