Thanks. Yes they are shortable. Only problem I see with them is the spread (huge) and the volume. The banking index and the transportation (if I remember correctly) are the only ones with any volume at all. Of course they are all new. I looked at the International spyders too. Japan, Germany, UK had decent volume. Spreads really prevent anything shorter than 3-5 day long trades IMO.
