Tony - <Does this mean that you attribute the fact that you know nothing in the networking area to Amy?>

Oh cripes. Please forgive my poor grammar. For the record, it is not Amy's fault that I don't know very much about the Networking Biz.

<Sorry, still a bit crazy from the Red Sox game last night.>

I missed it. It sounds like it was a riot!

<Amy "stretches" the content band on this thread with stuff that is a good change from the norm. As for the Sox, they'll probably get theirs in Cleveland tonight.>

Okay, look at the above two sentences. Are you saying that the Sox will get their content band "stretched", in some way that is similar to what Amy does for the thread?

And you're making fun of my posts <VBG>.

Tony, OTOT RE: The Bosox

New England, in true schizophrenic form, has gone from proclaiming the hopelessness of the situation two days ago to killing all of the ghosts of the past now. (Beat the Indians and avenge the last two divisional series, beat the Yankees and kill the curse of the Bambino, and finally beat the Mets and kill Buckner's curse.)

On one hand, I'm hoping this isn't another in a long tradition of Red Sox fans getting optimistic at exactly the wrong time. On the other hand, if that scenario were to truly win out, I'm going to be worried about the Apocalypse come New Year's. The one mitigating factor against that is the fact that the Cubs were horrid this year; a true Apocalypse would have the Cubs and the Red Sox in the Series.
