Neal:

Thanks for your sensible and steadying posts. You were right about filling the gap this morning, predicting it might dip below 14 before it happened. Kudos to the whole thread for not pushing the panic button and screaming "SELL"! I agree that we may revisit the $15 area toward the end of the day.

Momentum still seems to be on the side of the longs, at least in reference to microeconomics if not to the broader market. Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow if Intel disappoints in any way. As far as I know, the IPO pricing date is still set for this Thursday, Oct. 14, with trading to begin on Friday, the 15th.

This is where things get interesting, and profits hang in the balance these days....

Yeah, I don't think Moby did anything special....Sold some of my long trading shares at 14 7/8 and got them back at 13 3/4. Like you said, I figured it had a pretty good chance of filling the gap....Now the real question is whether buying back was a good idea....

Hope you're right....

Neal, where was that $15 at the end of the day you were looking for? Did you mean the total value of your account?

LOL!
