not really...the recession should be a depression...cutting very deep and being of long duration, similar to what Japan experienced in the '90's and the U.S. in the '30's.
that will be the proof.
sort of like a mirror image of the bubble preceding it.
btw, the fact that the bubble's life may be extended a bit more doesn't disprove anything...it merely allows for the imbalances to increase even more.
