<Does this mean the testing methodology is flawed or that porcine sectretin is not it ?? (I'm not a bio-specialist)>

O.K. I'll bite, although my experience is anecdotal only, and I am not a scientist, although I've followed the bio boards long enough to be dangerous on my trial knowledge...

The typical autism story that I've heard [and there are others... metal intake? "True autism"? others] is that there is a stressor creating sickness [vaccine shots, allergans, both/combo] followed by anti-biotics.

Gut is wiped out and yeast sets into the gut... yeasts have nasty bi-products that are neurotoxic and affect all sorts of areas of the brain depending on the individual... and causes the typical behaviors we see such as spinning, self-stimming.

Now, secretin comes in to help the digestion of the newly wiped out gut [why they would be giving it to to year olds is beyond me] for one thing. Also, treating the yeast is VERY IMPORTANT... getting rid of the neurotoxins is very important, from the things I have heard [anecdotal remember] early treatment is a MUST! Damage is done certainly by 7-8 let along 10-12 years old. I have no reason to believe giving secretin to a 10 year old has ANYTHING to do with giving it to a 2-3 year old... when they should get it [according to DAN protecol and anecdotes I've heard.

Here's the sad part... I have been told by 'specialists' in the field that they don't [wont] diagnose autism till 3 yrs old [no doubt why the protecol is 3- whatever], so the study is going with the old line beliefs about autism... I have to believe that these people doing the study have little clue. IMO only!
