>>>(assuming optimal line conditions)<<< It sounds good, but that comment goes against what we should assume about the POTS. My guess is by the time all the xDSL dust settles we'll all be wireless.

[telecom 99]

hi ray,

nice to see you're still around... rumor consensus seems to be that it's gonna be FT (2nd/3rd) ... have to admit that i did actually check that fujitsu was showing orct (not wstl) @ telecom 99 in geneva.... and all is well... ;)

fwiw all time highs, even tho momentary do seem to improve the mood ... and even from here orct is beginning to feel like we could be in for another run..
---

kinda like this full rate splitterless thing... particularly the mention along with alcatel... could be wrong, but kinda think that orct drives alcatel a little crazy... ;) ...

don't remember any alcatel "june" announcement on their full rate splitterless solution (as mentioned in yesterday's pr-tho will look)... don't doubt alcatel's got the technology (as have others)... but suspect alcatel just wants to rewrite a little history here ... they don't like to share limelight anyway, but sharing with orckit must be particularly distasteful ... not in their league.. blah blah blah.. ;)

did you notice that orct is leasing up everything in their tel aviv neighborhood?:
globes.co.il

and have you checked out the options activity in orct in the last few weeks? ... lots of call activity in Oct 30/35/40s and Nov 35/40s ... hmmmm

not too long to q3 results (10/19).. do ya think orct's gonna make it to revenues of $24 million from q3's $16 million? (only) up 50% qtr/qtr? ... given recent action am beginning to wonder if they could do better? tho maybe this will do ... ;)

see ya
