Do supply some source that isn't his claim, please. I have a number of books on RR here, and one thing they are all in agreement on is that he made stuff up. Even George Schultz says so. Don't we all? [Edit: P.S. Still waiting for your example of one person besides you on planet earth who has said in print that Chris Lehmann-Haupt is "an extreme leftist ideologue."] Do I count? JLA

Hello E, I've been reading this discussion for what seems like several weeks, tho' it's more likely several days. I may have missed a few posts here or there, but over-all I think I've read the majority. While I respect your opinion concerning Ronald Reagan, and to some extent, agree, I must confess a certain curiosity with what seems to be an obsession with attacking him or anyone who might rise to his defense. Would you explain, please? Maybe if we all understood your motivation we could accept your arguments against him. Thanks.
