DCBEN, Westy has some connections and some pull that keeps him on the payroll...IMO. He is a really old Wall Street guy....and knows lots of people who sit in big, overstuffed leather chairs. Read some of his essays....on his website. You may find him to be rather unconventional.....but you may also find that he has the respect of many high profile public figures.....folks who are considered deep thinkers. I have always thought of him as a cross between PT Barnum and Andy Rooney.......He was one of the very first to warn that Y2K was real.....and would have a major impact......this was years ago. He was slammed for it up and down....but never backed off. He was 100% correct. Of course, nobody recalls this now. Life is not just what Merrill Lynch says it is......Sometimes it is what Bill Gates says it is....and Bill Gates likes biometrics! OT......Interesting trading today. IDX seems to have a soft under-belly. I hope we will here more about the shipping of BioLogon 2 coming up shortly.......This is IDX's first software product.....and I believe the margins are much better on software....than hardware.
