Was he a harsh old meany in the old testament and now he is a poor defeated nice guy just crying because no one will listen ??? GOD DOES NOT CHANGE... He is the "TERRIBLE GOD" to be feared even still. God is revealed as both. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God Hebrews 10:31 God is both ANGRY and MERCIFUL. He is ANGRY to some and MERCIFUL to others. If your God changes what makes you think he will not change back to HARSH tomorrow ??? What does the bible teach about God ?? Mal 3:6 "For I am the LORD I Change not What you have done is put Gods wrath and anger into the Old testament and His Love and Mercy into the New Testament.. That is not rightly dividing the word or truth. They are both present throughout and they are both parts of God's Personhood. Did you know that one of the Names for God is Jealous ??
