its something that si mgmt made up to get those of us who will not budge from classic over to new si at least long enough to check our free email...

looks to me like it's the same stuff Yahoo! email et al are all about. Like you can have a free eaddress such as cheeky@siliconinvestor.com Just a guess on my part, I only glanced at the link a few posts past. Free email or something. W/C, IMO. Of course, Someone please correct me if I'm off base, 'cause I'm a little curious too. And no, I haven't been in beta land for quite some time. Can't even remember. BTW, I get privates asking how to get to the Classic. any one know how? I've had SI as my home page from day one of my membership, and I don't have any problems signing onto the Classic. In fact, I'm almost frightened to sign into beta for fear of never returning to Classic.
