charted price incorporates most if not all of the fundamentals long before you lift your hand to pick up the newspaper by the way, QCOM went above the Bollinger Band today it shows upper limit of 214-215 technical analysts do not denigrate fundamentalists why do fundamentalists denigrate technicians? is it ignorance of a tool and its usage? I think yes if not understood, kill it (the American way) stick with what you understand, and try to respect what you are ignorant of... that is the way I would like to see this thread operate... if you have a successful approach to investing, more power to you... please share it... that is what I do have you noticed any continued pattern of accuracy in my TA calls? at what point do you conclude it is not luck? / Jim

Down South, I never ignore the fundamentals. For a buy and hold investor, QCOM is one of the best keepers of all time. My TA was attempting to point out what may lie ahead for QCOM over the next 10 days or so. I have spent numerous hours over the last 12 months learning and studying Technical Analysis. It is only one of many tools available to each and evry investor. The next few days can validate how far along I have come. I am using this as a paper trade only for now. If QCOM does not go over 123 convincingly and on good volume, it ill pull back. However, if it does, than there is no stopping this stock. The next stop is 240. Good Luck.
