Emory walked down the wet sidewalk, enroute to his favorite deli. His shoes were newly polished, pants expertly creased, shirt starched, tie clip perfect, jacket tailored exquisitely. His lips curled into a smile. Would she be there? It was in his pocket, the subpoena. Could he give it to her?
