Dan,

First off, no need to be sorry. You are entitled to you opinion. You are entitled to express it.

I have to make this short because I am running out of time, but we can address it later, if we so desire...

1. It is your image of God. Other people have other images. One thing I would be willing to be on is the popular perception of what Jesus looked like. I can guarantee you that if he was that blond haired, blue eyed, Aryan looking guy portrayed by most pictures, He was the only one in that geographical area that looked that way:-)

I would love to see emile's face where he to come across a short, hairy, swarthy, hook nosed little guy by the name of Jesus:-) Much higher probability of that physical make up than tall and blond....

Different people have different perceptions of what god looks like. there is not one person who can claim to know for sure....

2. The bible. The Bible is fine for a reference(holy or not) if you are a Jew or Christian. Otherwise it is no more holy than the Koran.

3. Just because something is new and different does not make it wrong. If that was the case, the Church would still be mad at people for insisting the earth revolves around the sun...... It is called progress. it can't happen without change.....
