Lost, Let me tell you the story of my Steelers starter jacket. I had no use for this coat, except to go to the Cleveland/Pittsburgh game in Cleveland when we had season tickets. It was sheer torture!!! I hate football. So when the buddies could not make the games, the family had the pleasure (??) of going. As the dutiful wife I went, gagging the entire time. LOL Well, last year when my friends house burned down, and she being an AVID Steeler fan.....I promptly gave my coat to her!!! Happy to have an excuse to be rid of it. (kind of the topic of my next SS50 post. Anyway, you have the total wrong picture of me typing away... (not to mention, I hate socks...) I have heard of the things you mention, but it is like speaking Greek to me. I just don't get it. More football stories... The first NFL game I went to.....Was Super Bowl XX, I did not know what a first down was.....Can you say wasted ticket??? I should have scalped it..... Another story... Along about the Steel Curtain time, and Pgh was in the Super Bowl, my college friend and I went to the movies on Sunday night. We honestly had no clue why we were the only 2 people in the theatre. Lo and behold it was Super Bowl Sunday, Pittsburgh was playing, and we lived in Pittsburgh!!! Go figure!!! smiles Jane next subject???
