TD: A great article!! I will retitle it:"where's the Beef?"

It is now clear why the Dollar/gold were decoupled:

Initially I think it was to allow us to spend and spend,
tax and tax and print our way out of our problems.

Later on though ( in the last 80s ) as we saw Japan
and the rest of the world become dependent on us economically,
we turned the printing press full blast in order
to make them even more dependent by making our
currency the de facto world currency and
? rule the world.

I believe that it was Bill Clinton who will be remembered in
history as one of the weakest, or, the weakest US President,
who was unable to stir us out of this morass.

I am afraid the worst is yet to come,

TA
