Jim,

re:"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON...no Pentium IIIs????
Maybe they waited for the CUneverMines???"

Maybe Intel's voice mail is broken.
Press 1 for p3 600 slot 1, press 2 for p3 600B, press 3 for p3 600E, press 4 for p3 600EB, press 5 if you would rather wait on the Aluminum Coppermine to come out, press 6 if you really wanted an 820 chipset and RAMBUST."

Seriously, as a consumer, I have two nice systems, one an ABIT BX6rev2 board with a 333 Celeron. I can wait until 1q2000 when I can get a p3 at firesale prices. I can even disable the processor serial number on the motherboard. For Christmas next year, 1gig Athlon motherboard and psu. :o)

My biggest concern is the new Windoze IS closer to NT5 than the Windoze most of us have grown to hate. I'd give almost anything for a service pak for my NT4 with the latest DirectX...

Oh, the P3 600s wouldn't be sitting on useless 820/Rambust motherboards "awaiting" the FINAL SOLUTION, would they?
