DIPY: You will see the fights and recriminations soon and you would still insist that everything's just fine. But that's you! I don't know whether U R from a large extended family. India is a large extended family of gigantic proportions. The nascent or near-nascent BJP Ministry will be a hot bed of debates and fights. Expect that. How Vajpayee will take charge and run this ship is worth looking into. He is a consummate statesman, who is not given to rash decisions. To U the vessel may look like a ship of fools. But judging from the Bus diplomacy, Kargil, and his prudent hesitancy not to open a second front in Pakistan, Shariff's grudging respect for the man, keeping all the fringe elements on the sidelines, widespread feeling among all national leaders that he is a moderate, Vajpayee at the helm is good for India - and that is an unequivocal goodness towards ALL Indians. We have known this man through 3 administrations. Everybody has praise for him. What others will do is not up to him. Will wait and see. Godspeed to him. God Bless INDIA.
