yes, it was in Palo Alto, at a Sun conference, and he was acting very boorishly, and telling everyone that

a) SUN was doomed and solaris as well.
b) when people were asking him questions, he would be very impatient and made people feel like idiots.
c) made some Sun CSE friends of mine argue with him..

He seemed like a fanatic, who does not tolerate any other points of vue than his own, and, from a canadian point of vue, seemed to think americans were "simple in the head" and europeans had much better understanding of everything, especially finns.

McNeely, Zander and Bill Joy were a wonder to behold, even if Scott's gotta lay off the anti-MSFT crusade...

All, in all, not a pleasant experience, sort of like if I met our wonderful thread linguist...
