Need confirmation of an idea from a CPA/Broker friend: If the stockholders, who have bought stock on margin, simply put their stock up for sale with limit orders at a much higher than current price, say $14 for USAB, that stock can no longer be borrowed for shorting purposes.
The idea seems powerful enough to reduce the amount of stock shorted. Can someone else in the know verify this?
