"India has a long way to go before catching up with China"
excerpt:
The question needs to be posed and squarely confronted: Is democracy as propagated and practised in contemporary India inimical to economic growth and development?

my comments:
China developed faster than India because of their political system. U will be the first one to condemn the chinese political system, if transplanted to India. Countless deaths, imprisonment, forced abortions, complete and total Govt. control of body, mind and soul of every Chinese. The Chinese were the humanoid robots programmed by the Govt. Now they are being humanized. Yes, under the said circumstance India will progress very fast. Do WE want it that way?
Good Night
