One of the worst things about being trapped in the webs of Alzheimer's disease must be the inability even to understand the attacks on one, much more the inability to reply. To go into that good night without the ability to rage against the fading of the light must be the worst way to die. I hope such memories as he has are pleasant and reassuring. He has much to be proud of. I hope he has forgotten anything he did wrong or less well than he could have done.

You tricked me by.... No trickery meant or intended. I sincerely apologize if you took it that way. I appreciated (and appreciate) your sincere replies. I have read the posts you mentioned once. I do not recognize the need for a re-read. If you want to take the time to search back through pertinent posts, you may certainly do so whenever you like, however, I won't. Once is plenty for me. What you and others have been discussing here is the fallacies of a previous president that has no further influence on anything political in this country or any other. At some point (and for me, it's here,) it becomes boringly repetitious to read the same old complaints over and over) Your feelings of distaste and animosity toward him are obvious to anyone who reads this thread. I simply voiced my opinion that maybe you had beat this dead horse a sufficient amount and lots of us lurkers would like to move on to other subjects. It's patently obvious that you disagree. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding. You were, in fact, mistaken in regards to my motives(the second time). edit: there are a coupla' edits in there.
