Dearest Colleen, I rely on this verse with almost everything in my life, Proverbs 3 5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. I have another testimony this year. My father was raised Jewish and became an athiest. He rejected the Lord in a big way most of his life. Well he collapsed with lung cancer in Nov. and they sent him home with Hospice care to die at home. I was able to be with him. When I was praying in the bathroom I felt the Lord pushing me to read John 5 24-25 to him. 24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25: Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. I did not want to hear him reject the Lord as he was dying. Well you can figure who won this arguement. So I read it to him and asked him if he believed that Jesus words were true and that he died for his sins. He said YES I BELIEVE. I sat there speechless and numb. Then he told me the only thing he had hoped the rapture would be a little bit sooner. I could not believe he had listened to me about the rapture as he was making fun of it. WOW! We have to speak the truth for we do not know how he will use it. He went into a comma and I had to leave him. As he was dying he came around and told my stepmother that he felt great and it was a bright new day, then he said I see Jesus coming Margaret, and his last words in this world were, I am ready Lord. I fell to my face with Praise when I heard this. People that knew my father were amazed and the Hospice nurse that was in the room accepted the Lord and changed her life because of what she felt. I am so very gratefull that he allowed me to hear this. How many die and we do not hear their acceptance. May the Lord Yeshua be Praised forever and ever, Nancy
