Hi Dave,

First let me say I am not now invested in CQV. I thought the NR was positive but more hype than substance. I was hoping for something which added real value. I am not considering buying this again until tax loss selling time. I think there will be plenty of time to buy into this prospective play. The company has to determine if the amount of oil/gas there is a sufficient amount to make a lasting well. There will be further cost to drilling which may turn up more resources but this will not happen until at least mid 2000 so the time to jump in seems a little early IMHO. They will have to raise money likely to accomplish their plans. It is a tough road and I wish them well. I think the important next step is to get the current well producing and making money for them so they can raise sufficient capital to do more exploration. This play is still very early. I wouldn't say you missed the boat but I wouldn't say now is the right time to get on board either. I wouldn't be surprised to see .10 before December is through. I hope this doesn't offend any one. These are just my opinions and I understand others may not share them.

One thing they have going for them is the rising cost of oil and the obvious increase there will be in exploration as a result. Especially in Newfoundland.
