Life is indeed a funny journey of aches and pains and pleasures but none the less it is a very serious event and we know that is MUST have meaning !

The reason I decided to leave this subject alone is because I had decided that although I could argue the point it would not benefit either me or the person I was discussing it with, since it could definitely be viewed as a personal choice. I did not wish to admit that I was wrong, because I still stand by what I have said, however my insistance that CC is wrong would not be helpful.

Surely there are some things which are subject to opinion, such as choice of church, although I may choose a church I should not argue that your choice is wrong because you do not choose the same church as me.

To clarify I was not agreeing to disagree about the fact that God would not kill CCs children for CCs sins, I was letting the previous point go, the one about whether it is good to bring children into the world.

It's been my experience that the answer to these type questions is actually "A&B both are correct because they are opposite". One is correct for one person and one is correct for the other.

The general spewing of A versus B is what led to the Europeans infecting both the Superior African and Superior Native American communities with disease and hardships. God does not care whether men are right or wrong, all He has ever asked (in any religion) is for man to be good. Ironically, simply because we know the difference still does not matter to Him. And it is not in knowing the difference that we are saved, but rather by God Himself. It is a foolish man (in any religion) that believes he can save himself with good deeds and moral righteousness. (I would note; good deeds does not a good man make)

I would also note that moral righteousness leads to pride which is sin... which greatly contributed to the death of millions of Africans and Native Americans in the name of Exploration (it was God's destiny for the white man to circle the globe) and Manifest Destiny (it was God's destiny for the white man to "own" America). Now it is God's destiny for the "white man" to transform all people to His will. What hogwash. "I am the way." Kinda implies that God will do the transforming of whomever he pleases and quite honestly there's nothing we can do about who gets saved and who does not. ...But that does not mean that we can freely sin, but rather that we need to be good. In being good you will show God. Moral superiority is not man's to have... of course I feel "morally superior" in stating this, so do with it what you will...

ps. NOT agreeing to disagree is what has kept Isreal fighting for over 2000 years...
