You asked in one of your posts to Ted, if there was any confirmation on NEC Athlon systems. I've seen a NEC Athlon advertisement in this week's Best Buy flyer. It's an Athlon 500MHz system for $750 after $530 rebates! A color Printer and a 17" Monitor are included in the system price. Goutama

<Whose chipset and MB is this?> It could be AMD's Irongate proliferation that can support two processors on one north bridge, plus DDR SDRAM. It's definitely not HotRail's chipset, unless they're working on a two-way chipset in addition to their switched fabric 8-way platform. Tenchusatsu
