Although long and bullish on IBM, I believe its headed lower.

HW sales are off as expected, but doing worse than hoped for. I don't think The Street will be happy with IBM's 3rd Qtr report, and I don't think 4th Qtr will be all that exciting either. Intel did not help the market's mood, and tech will suffer. I bot Jan 125 Puts after the Labor Day rally, and expect them to expire well in the money to offset my loss on the long positions. January should present a great buying opportunity and IBM should resume its upward march in 2000 as its fundamentally sound business strategies unfold.
