Clark, thanks for your feedback... Do you mean from CDMAOne or from GSM?
I meant from GSM. I was under the impression that Irwin Jacobs was suggesting that a CDMA overlay (presumably HDR) would be more cost effective for IS-136 carriers than going with EDGE. I think he made some comments to that effect on the CDG conference call a couple months ago, but I forget the details.

Although I will have to learn aspects of GPRS for my job, I haven't gotten there yet...
