Gentlemen:

Your returns are, IMHO, are not surprising. I think ORCL still has yet to realize its full potential. ORCL is a gorilla when it comes to database. As a consequence of this position, IMHO, it is uniquely positioned to benefit from the growth emanating from e-commerce.

BTW, I've held ORCL since '91. The average annual ROI on this investment has been in the neighborhood of 125%. I've never sold my original position. In the past few years I've added to it on major dips. As a rather long term investor in ORCL, I have yet to see a reason to sell.

The key, IMHO, to a long term strategy is to focus on the vision of the Company & recognize its dominance in a market that will not disappear, but only grow. It is also important not to be influenced by short-term bumps in the road.

OTOH, if you're a shorter-term investor, you can disregard the above.
