Everyone is so distracted by hedge exposure (the tail) that we seem to have forgotten the primary objective of gold miners is mining gold (the dog). When the tail stops wagging the dog, maybe we will see if the dog can really hunt for gold ! Maybe we should send all of the operations people from the field to headquarters in Vancouver and Toronto to fix the books (maybe they can cook the books in an autoclave), and even better send the CEO/CFO/staff to the field to mine the gold.
