How many new customers is AMTD adding in a qtr, anybody here know? I bought egrp recently, I'm looking for them to add somewhere in the 300Ks customers this quarter, I'm wondering how far amtd is behind that.

BTW on the "internet popping" thesis, many nets are very close to their old highs as of this month, and I think a few like yhoo will surpass their old highs by 20% or so... which would return about 30-40% for the year. Its only the brokers which are still in the basement and boy are they down there. I jumped the gun a little early buying etrade but I still think I was close to the bottom at least.

>>OK. And that wasn't your analysis at the time. There was no talk of "let's rifde this bubble before it bursts" then.<<

as an investor in high growth stocks and especially internet stocks, i believe it is important to adapt to change extremely quickly. if you believe in something and it doesnt work out, it is imprtant to recognize that and move on. e brokers are way to overcrowded now, before they were not. what can i say ?

good luck to you...
