Anyone download the new AOL 5.0?
Upgraded over the weekend. Big mistake! First of all, when starting my computer I would get a message that my Ram had decreased. This was in 16 Meg units every time I booted up. I had 80 Megs before the 5.0 upgrade and finally wound up with 32 Megs left, when the dreaded blue screen kept coming on. Got one last system error message when everything went down. During this time the modem failed and various I/O ports ceased to function. I had to mooch my kid's laptop to write this and market trade.

I have been forced to order a new Dell T600 Dimension to stay in business and will see if my old Dell XPS 166c can be resurrected. I will never permit AOL to reside on any of my machines again. My son would occasionally use AOL on my unit because of the bigger screen. Never again.
