IPO was never confirmed by NAVR (way to go EP!). Therefore, I would be lying if I said it was cancelled.

The hoopla started when some longs on RB and Yahoo! posted that a roadshow was in progress and when some IPO sites had NETR listed as a go for the week of the 11th. Other than that, there has been no word from NAVR.

On the note of the quiet period, I asked this question to a reputable authority here today. There is a quiet period, but there is nothing that says a company cannot confirm that an IPO will be on a certain date. That in itself is not a violation of any rule.

Clearly, NAVR's problems are more than just the MMs and daytraders. The reticence of the PR department is a big part.

NAVR, a case study in how NOT to run PR.
