It takes time and effort and limits your choices I admit. For myself I am mostly dealing with small (relatively) companies, on Canadian exchanges.I try always to go to AGMs and special meetings and mingle. Fortunately the key people are surprisingly approachable. Always remember that one of the key functions of any CEO is to promote his company to ensure continuity. If they're too unapproachable that tells you enough for a decision right there. Everybody has to develop his own style. It helps too that I'm not doing it to try to retire....I am retired.
