Greg,OT> over the past 12 months I've established a very large position in QCOM. The recent pullback to the $153 range allowed me to substantially add to my personal position & in the mutual fund I manage privately. I suspect that the handset division has already been sold & will be announced with earnings Nov 2 [Siemens is my guess ], along with a split [subject to shareholder approval of an increase in authorized shares at Feb annual meeting ]. I also believe they will announce some major new strategic partnership/initiative before year end.

QCOM, in addition to being a great long term hold, is a phenomenal momo stock. Reminds me so much of DELL in late '96 through '97.

Regards, Gabriel
