taxman, Intel getting hammered afterhours. The story appears to be the same as last quarter when they missed numbers but the stock went up. This time i don't expect a rebound immediately. Lucky for me, i unloaded short term calls and trading shares. Even unloaded half of my core shares because of the way it stalled during the day (still have January calls left). However still holding some January calls.

The trading before earnings release can really give hints as to what is expecting. It stumbled after initial gains. Almost makes you feel that the analysts who meet management don't always share all the information with the public in their upgrade/downgrade/comments until they have their own clients out. That is why i reduced positions today.

Expecting MSFT to get hit tomorrow (it hurts already)but followed by a rebound late in the week.
