Yes if you have the money in your account to cover the buy but not if the purchase order is dependent on the sale.IE.You have sale in for 2K of ABC at 2.00 and want to put a buy in at 1.75.You can do it if you have the money in the account to cover the buy if you get filled on a pull back.If you don't and you don't have margin in yuour account they will force you to sell first.
