well, intc may well be a nice catalyst...i noted the vix scooted up to the mid 20's... i got no crystal ball, i just think the mkt will see y2k fears as overblown, the mkt is traditionally good this time of year, and we've had individual stocks take major haircuts from time to time...its awesome the avgs hold up, i mean even the farmer in the dell is a good 15 % off its highs... i need au @ 29 to rebuy..i am glad i closed part of my abx position, its costly to buy back calls sold, but i felt i had to...i have 17 abx oct 20 poots in my acct still ,just in case...gosh i hope i can finally get out of that boobytrap ! i haven't abandoned the bear completely...i added qqq poots tooday, but i'd rather play the bear through gold (which did not have a shit hot day today even with the lousy markets...) i'll watch utx, thanks for the heads up... ike
