I can't think of any other reason for Reagan's CO to be Intelligence, can you? Maybe some of the people with military experience can enlighten us. I think it stands to reason that making films that show pilots how to fly one of our planes during wartime is something that should be classified. Reagan served in the Reserves commencing in the 1930's, I believe 1937, according to the bio I linked. He didn't just put on a uniform to impress his fans, as I believe Elvis did.
