NO NO NO , that is not what I said...you asked me to explain what I meant in my earlier post...We can't do everything...we are not of the financial means to buy market share, unless you want us to burn through that 300 million, because our Rev's will not support a large advertising budget, unless I am missing something...No one wants PUB more than I, but we can't just blow money, earnings are our call to fame, there just is not enough to go around.

Interesting post Sarkie! Re PR!! and Advertising and this post....
Couple of thoughts....
1) At this stage of things, probably PR is even MORE important than advertising...
2) Mercata had a full page ad Sunday in the Seattle Times...(nice clean, clear ad)...
don't know how many other newspapers it was in...would be interesting to know...
3) Re your post...I was curious about TRUSTe...and the number of 'hits' they had...
who they are, and why, etc....
Looked them up, and find what companies are corporate advisors, corporate sponsors, corporate licensees, etc.....
DIDN'T see GNET there....Wonder WHY?
truste.org
These were the Top 10 listed from this list.....note the nearly 2:1 impressions from #2....

Would be interested to hear thoughts on this...
