OT...again...

Guess what Mason? Just got through reading the daily local paper and once again another sighting! Here is the story...

SHARK SPOTTED OFF EWA BEACH!

Firefighters cleared surfers from the water off Ewa Beach yesterday after someone reported a shark swimming near shore.

No one was hurt, said Fire Capt. Ed Cashman of the Ewa Beach station.
The beach will be open today.

A resident called the fire department about 5:25PM to report a shark sighting off the 91-300 block of Ewa Beach Road.

The fire department helicopter was sent, and a 5 to 6 foot shark, possibly a white-tip, was seen, officials said.

Cashman said the shark swam within 10 feet of shore, near where two grade-school children were swimming.

I used to laugh and scoff at my children when they were afraid of swimming in the ocean because of sharks. In my mind it was like being afraid of monsters under your bed.

I don't scoff anymore! Be afraid...be very afraid <ggg>
